Parking Facility Features
1. How secure is your lot?
The Port of Seattle's official cruise parking facilities are secured, gated, and monitored 24/7. Our parking lot offers 800 spaces that are secured, gated, and monitored with 24-hour security patrols.
2. Is your lot covered or open? Do you have any height restrictions?
Smith Cove Cruise Terminal: It is an open-air parking lot without height restrictions, accommodating oversized cars, vans, trucks, SUVs, and RVs.
3. How far is your parking lot from the cruise terminal?
Our parking lot is located at Pier 91, directly adjacent to the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal, with complimentary shuttles running continually between the lot and the terminal. Other parking options are at least 1 mile away from the cruise terminal.
4. What can I expect when I arrive at your parking lot?
Upon arrival: After parking, a complimentary shuttle will transport you and your luggage to the terminal.
5. What happens when I return from the cruise and want to exit the lot?
Upon returning: Shuttles will transport you and your personal luggage from the terminal back to the parking lot to collect your vehicle.

7. Do you have driving directions? How do I get to your parking lot?
- From Interstate 5, take the Mercer Street Exit (Exit 167).
- Continue for 1.7 miles, then turn right onto Elliott Ave West.
- Turn right at West Galer Street Flyover (Magnolia Bridge).
- Follow signs to Smith Cove Park and Cruise Terminal or cruise parking.
8. What are your hours of operation?
Our parking lot operates from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all cruise days. After-hours services may incur additional fees.
9. Do you have handicap parking?
Yes, handicap parking spaces are available at our parking lot located at Pier 91. However, there are currently no price concessions for disabled drivers.
10. Do you provide RV, motorhome, or oversized car parking?
Yes, oversized car, van, truck, SUV, and RV parking is available at Pier 91.
11. What is Self Parking vs Valet Parking?
Self Parking is available at our parking lot with spacious sized stalls available for all customers. Valet Parking is available at off-property lots that are a lot farther away from the terminal, where you drop off your vehicle at the entrance and a valet attendant will park it for you. Vehicles are often parked very close together and other vehicles may need to be moved to allow access to your car.
12. Can I park my car myself? Do I have to leave my keys?
At our parking lot, you park your car yourself and retain your keys. Valet services are not provided at this location.
13. Do you have restrooms on-site?
Restroom facilities are available within the cruise terminals. It's advisable to use these facilities. Yes portable facilities are available on-site.
14. Do you have baggage tags? Can I leave my baggage with you?
Baggage tags are typically provided by your cruise line. It's recommended to tag your bags before arriving at the terminal. Bag assistance is available at the terminal, but not at the parking facilities.
15. Do I have to drop my bags off at the terminal before parking?
Our shuttle staff will assist you with loading your bags and personal articles as they transport you to the terminal. You may also drop off your bags and passengers at the terminal's designated drop-off area before proceeding to our parking facility.

Shuttle Services From The Parking Lot To Terminal
1. Do you offer shuttle service? How often do they run?
Yes, at Smith Cove Cruise Terminal, we provide complimentary shuttle services between the parking lot and the cruise terminal for our parking patrons. These shuttles run continuously during peak embarkation and disembarkation times to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
2. Where is the pickup location for my shuttle when I return?
Upon returning from your cruise, after disembarking and clearing customs, please proceed to the designated shuttle pickup area located directly beside the terminal. Our shuttles will be stationed there to transport you back to the parking lot.
3. What time do your shuttles arrive? How early can I show up at the lot?
Our parking facility at Pier 91 operates from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on cruise days. Shuttle services commence in alignment with these hours, typically starting at 7:00 AM. We recommend arriving at the parking lot no earlier than the opening time to ensure access and service availability.
4. Are your shuttles wheelchair or power chair accessible?
Our shuttle buses are not equipped to accommodate passengers with mobility devices, including wheelchairs or power chairs. If you require assistance, please reserve Transport services prior to your arrival to our facilities.
5. Do I have to drop my luggage off at the terminal before parking?
No. Our shuttle services are provided by the same longshoremen that load your luggage at the ship, and they will assist you in transporting your luggage to the terminal.
6. Do I have to tip your shuttle driver?
Tipping is not required but is appreciated if you feel that our staff has provided exceptional service during your visit.
Parking Reservations
1. Are reservations required? When should I make my reservation?
While reservations are not strictly required for general parking at Pier 91, they are highly recommended to guarantee a space, especially during peak cruise seasons. For RV and oversized vehicle parking, reservations are mandatory. We suggest making your reservation as early as possible to ensure availability.
2. How do I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made online through Platinum Parking’s website which will direct your to our reservations system managed by Honk. Click here to select your desired dates, select your parking option and complete your reservation.
3. How do I cancel or modify my parking reservation?
We realize things happen that would force you to cancel your parking reservation with Platinum Parking. Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the booking date. To cancel or modify your parking reservation, please contact Platinum Parking directly. We manage the parking facilities at Pier 91 and can assist with reservation modifications or cancellations. 4. How much does it cost to park?
General parking at Pier 91 is available for $220 per week. Economy Parking is also available as the lower cost alternative for $187 per week and Premium Parking is available directly at the shuttle stops for $329 per week. RV parking and wheel chair Transport parking are also available. Please note that rates are subject to change and vary by the number of days for your cruise.
5. Which cruise lines do you serve?
Pier 91 serves several major cruise lines, including Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and others. For a comprehensive list of cruise lines operating from Pier 91, please refer to the Port of Seattle's official website.
6. Can I change the date of my parking reservation?
Yes, you can modify your parking reservation. To do so, please contact Platinum Parking at 425-689-3643 for assistance with changing your reservation dates.

7. I'm bringing multiple cars. Can I list them under one reservation?
Each car requires a separate reservation. Please make individual reservations for each car to ensure adequate space is allocated.
8. How do I reserve handicap parking?
Handicap-accessible parking spaces are available at Pier 91. These spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ensure that you make an advance reservation for the "Wheel Chair Transport" option when booking. If you require assistance, our staff is available to help. Send us your questions here.
9. Do you provide RV, motorhome, or oversized vehicle parking?
Yes, we offer parking for RVs, motorhomes, and oversized vehicles. Reservations and prepayment are required to guarantee a space.
10. What types of payment do you accept?
We accept various forms of payment, including major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For online reservations, payments can be made directly through our parking portal hosted by Honk Mobile.
11. Do you have any discounts or promo codes?
We currently offer different options for parking. General, Economy, Premium, RV, and Transport Parking. Economy parking is the furthest away from the shuttle stops and is offered at a discounted rate.
12. Do you have any discounts for Military, AAA, Travel Agents, or AARP members?
At this time, we do not offer specific discounts for Military personnel, AAA members, Travel Agents, or AARP members. We recommend checking with these organizations directly, as they may have partnerships or offers that could be applicable.
13. I don't have my license plate number or don't know which car I will bring.
It’s recommended to enter your license plate number at the time of reservation. We can assist you with your reservation at the facility if you need to update your license plate.
14. I saw an ad that says parking for $56 per week, but your website says $199.
The rates you mentioned may pertain to different parking providers or promotional offers. Our official rates are as stated earlier: Economy Parking is available from $187 per week. See our parking rates for more choices before you reserve.
RV parking and wheel chair Transport parking are also available. We recommend booking directly through our official channels to ensure you receive accurate pricing and guaranteed space.
15. What is the difference between full-service valet and self-parking?
At Pier 91, we primarily offer self-parking options. In a self-parking setup, you park your vehicle yourself and retain your keys. Full-service valet parking, where a valet attendant parks your vehicle for you, is not currently available at this location.
